The Goldstrap manual

Goldstrap starts Roblox the way you configure it once, and then stays out of the way. This is the reference for every setting, every flag and every error message it can show you.

Files Goldstrap keeps

Everything is stored under %LOCALAPPDATA%\Goldstrap. Nothing is written outside that folder except the shortcuts you ask for, the registry entries for the roblox:// links, and the Roblox settings it edits for you.

What Goldstrap is, and is not

Goldstrap is an open-source bootstrapper for Roblox, built on the work of Bloxstrap and Fishstrap. It downloads the official client, applies your local settings, and starts it. It does not modify the game itself, does not touch servers, and does not give you anything the Roblox client would not do on its own.

It is not affiliated with Roblox Corporation. Roblox can change the client at any time, and something in this manual may be out of date by the time you read it.
